Lisa Mayo, RDH, BSDH, MHA

Lisa Mayo, RDH, BSDH, MHA is an inspiring and motivating educator who has taught thousands of live and virtual CE courses to healthcare professionals over her career. She is highly published having contributed to chapters in textbooks and written courses, educational pieces, and white papers for Access, Canadian Dental Journal, Colgate Dental Economics, Dental Learning, Dimensions of Dental Hygiene, Medicom, Penn Well, RDH, Ansell, and StudentRDH. Her first full-length textbook “Power Instrumentation for the Dental Professional” was released in 2023 published by Jones & Bartlett. 

Lisa graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Ohio University. She has been in higher education for 15 years as an Associate Professor, Professor, Dental Hygiene & Dental Assisting Program Director, and Academic Chair of multiple health science majors.
